The HAI SL-5000 was the first slit lamp with live digital imaging to hit the market. In 1999, the National Eye Institute chose our system over other brand name competitors for one of their studies. Fast forward eight years — all of the image and video clips used in the JCAHPO & CLAO Contact Lens Learning Systems CD released at the AAO Meeting in 2007 were provided by SL-5000 users.
With superior focal depth and image definition, plus 3CCD digital video technology, the SL-5000 system produces excellent results at the most affordable price in the field.
SL-5000s Standard Model Slit Lamp
The HAI SL-5000 Standard Model Slit Lamp System is a high quality, full-featured slit lamp with color video sequencing that allows real-time image capture. It offers both a large range of viewing depths and five levels of magnification from 6x to 40x. Interfaces directly with HAI IMS / CL Version.

SL-5000p Plus Model Slit Lamp
The HAI SL-5000 Plus Model Slit Lamp System is a premium quality, full-featured slit lamp with color video sequencing that allows real-time image capture. It offers a 14mm slit, a wide range of viewing depths, and magnifications from 6x to 40x. Interfaces directly with HAI IMS / CL Version.

SL-5000b Basic Model Slit Lamp
The HAI SL-5000b is an affordable solution that provides optimum evaluation for most slit lamp tasks. Although the basic model cannot be upgraded to digital video, it offers a large range of viewing depths, two magnification levels of 10x and 16x, and can be adapted to a tonometer, yellow filter and background light.
